Hello! Wow Thanksgiving week was crazy! I came down with strep throat on Sunday and then on Tuesday I still had to make 18 pies and 2 cakes! Wednesday I cleaned house all day, not to mention the non-stop stream of people in to pick up pies! Grandpa John and our nieces Cassidy and Kelsey VanVeen arrived Wednesday afternoon. We had a great day on Thursday, ate, ate, ate some more and watched a few games. The kids entertained themselves with card and board games. On Friday we went shopping, bowling, and then had a family celebration for Jonathan's 6th Birthday. Everyone left Saturday morning and I spent the rest of the weekend recooperating!
